Agritourism & Territory is a private experience that takes you inside one of the most productive and misunderstood agricultural landscapes in the world. You'll visit a working greenhouse with a local grower, understand how Almería became Europe's vegetable garden, and hear the story behind the 'sea of plastic' from the people who actually live it. Curious, honest and completely different from anything else on offer.
How does the experience unfold?
The day begins with a pick-up from the guest’s accommodation and a transfer to the selected agricultural area.
We visit an operational greenhouse with a local grower, where we gain an up-close understanding of the entire crop cycle: from planting to harvesting. We discuss sustainability, innovation and the sector’s current challenges.
During the tour, we put the well-known ‘sea of plastic’ into context, debunking myths and understanding its historical evolution.
We finish with a simple tasting of fresh produce from the garden, directly linking the landscape with the flavour.
